Everyone now knows Hager does not appreciate Jericho, as he drops the mic and leaves the ring. But, if they have to cut ties, it’s okay, because *we* have a lot of options…and he *liked* that hat. Jake Hager speaks up next, talking about their history and how much money he’s made thanks to Chris. Garcia ends by saying he cannot do this anymore, taunting the Ocho with a dance before leaving the ring and going up the ramp. He calls Jericho out for what happened last week, before saying he did many things in his career to choose Jericho…so he doesn’t understand why Jericho doesn’t choose them. Jericho says it’s “fine” that they come down here without him, but he comes to the ring as their friend…only for Garcia to interrupt him, telling the Ocho to let the A.S. If he maintains such popularity for much longer he very well may make the leap to meme royalty, where Pepe and others await. The frog has been around for years now and he’s not going anywhere. The Wednesday frog began as this simple meme solely tagged as a “Wednesday meme”. In today’s age Dat Boi can rise to fame in a few days and completely vanish by the next month, but some memes manage to stick around. The true test of a meme’s greatness is not how popular it gets, or how far across the internet it spreads, but rather it’s based on how long it stays around. From there the meme makes its way to Reddit and then onwards to the mainstream forums and social media platforms like Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram. Many a meme finds its way through 4Chan, the holy birthplace of all that is meme-able. Their origins are difficult to find amongst the deep roots of the varying internet forums. Memes come from many places on the internet. It’s the majestic Wednesday frog, announcing the day and greeting you as a friend. Just after midnight, early Wednesday morning, he first makes his appearance. Every Tuesday night folks across the world look towards their preferred internet media or forum in hopes of catching a glimpse of their dearest and most reliable friend.
